Big thanks to those who’ve chucked in for “John Howard’s Knees”, and just as much thanks go to those who’ve re-tweeted, reposted and just generally whored this page around!
Personally, I reckon spreading the word is at least as helpful to the film as putting in money. So if you can’t afford to help fund what is, let’s be honest, a bit of ludicrous whimsy, remember that letting others know about it would be more than doing your duty as a good, noble Australasian.
What’s happening with the film/song? Well, I just sent tracks to the bass player so he can record his stuff. I think we have the singer/s we need, so we’ll record them soonish.
I think people might be even more excited about the film if they knew which amazing Australian vocal gymnast is performing the “John Howard” role, but I really can’t say who it is until we’ve recorded him! IT’S EATING ME UP INSIDE I’M SO EXCITED! If, however, we are able to arrange his recording session before this Fundbreak thingo closes (July 4), I’ll update you right here.
