Cop Movies Yet To Be Watched

This is the list of cop movies and TV shows I own which I haven’t gotten around to viewing yet. Feel free to let me know which ones are worth checking out right now!

Also suggest others that might be worth checking out. Obviously I’m watching them as Precinct reference, so it’d be best if they contain

  • guns
  • explosions
  • rock music
  • synthesizers
  • mullet hair
  • Ernest Borgnine
  • theme song making lyrical reference to the title character
  • bad acting
  • unintentional comedy
  • a cop who’s three days from retirement
  • a cop on the edge
  • a cop with a hard face and a soft heart
  • a cop who’s too old for this shit
  • at least oneĀ  “badge and gun” scene

I tend to avoid cop comedies, for obvious reasons (see: Cops and Robbersons, Loose Cannons), sci-fi or “future-cop” movies (they generally don’t have enough classic cop interplay) and “almost” cop movies involving spies, FBI agents, U.S. rangers/marshals, etc (plenty of exceptions to this, though, as long as they have guns and badges to lose).
