Bret Braddock book launch coming to Melbourne Fringe
I Tweeted last week about not making it into Fringe in time, but thankfully my very lovely venue, the Bella Union (where we held the Comic Book Funny live shows), made it possible.
So now that the forms are in, I can tell you that we’ll launch a collection of my “Bret Braddock” comics at Bret Braddock’s Awkward Workplace Function, the Bella Union bar (Trades Hall) on Thursday October 7, 6-8pm.
Exactly what will transpire at this event is still a bit shadowy and mysterious, but I’m betting on at least:
- cake
- selling of the aforementioned comic book
- a few awkward speeches about our wonderful boss, Bret Braddock
- surprising prize giveaways
- two truly frightening special guests
